Following advice from the Government and professional bodies for healthcare professionals operating in private practices; Weymouth Osteopathy are able to open and treat both urgent and non urgent patients. It will follow strict guidence including having appropriate PPE for each treatment, sanitisation of equipment after each patient and carrying triage and and virtual calls as part of any treatment - therefore limiting the amount of phisical contact time required. It is a requirement that you wear a mask and sanitise on entering the premises.
What does an Osteopath do and how can Osteopathy help me ?
An Osteopath diagnoses and treats clients using a holistic approach of touch, manipulation, stretching and massage of the skeleton and musculature. It focuses on total body health by treating the body as a whole. Its aim is to positively affect the body's nervous, circulatory and lymphatic systems.
Osteopathy believes that your bones, ligaments and soft tissue are interconnected and that the health of one area of the body depends on the health of another area.
Weymouth Osteopathy provides a gentle, caring and effective hands-on approach to treating a wide range of conditions. We aim to provide effective treatment taking into account, the body as a whole. By treating the root cause rather than just the site of pain. We conform to the Osteopaths Code of Practice (GOsC) to provide the best outcome possible for all. We specialise in treating athletes, triathletes as well as in dealing with back pain.
