Jenny Glover MOst
Jenny studied for her MOst at the British School of Osteopathy(BSO) - now known as The University College of Osteopathy. During her time there she spent some time training in 'Victoria University Clinic' in Melbourne Australia. This opportunity was offered to only 2 students in her year.
Jenny has also studied Pilates through her training as a ballerina at 'The legat school of Russion Ballet' and 'The London Studio Centre'. She was awarded a scholarship to train as a Pilates Instructor with Body Control Pilates in London in 1984, under the instruction of Heather Sampson (first student of GordonThomson) and Alan Herdman. She was one of the 1st instructors of pilates in the UK (the 1st in Dorset to offer reformer classes.) She has taught Pilates at Weymouth College as well at her own studio in Weymouth where she teaches both mat and reformer work.
Jenny is also qualified in Sports massage, Swedish massage and Pregnancy massage and specialises in the treatment of Back Pain.
Jenny has worked with Olympic athletes as well as paraolympians, triathlon participants, sailors, pregnant women, dancers and other sports professionals and world champions. She has worked with physiotherapists in hospitals for 12 years and now treats referrals from hospitals, doctors and chiropractors. She understands the importance of preventing injury before unnecessary strain is put on the body and she also understands the importance of a good diagnosis and how important a clear explanation of the injury is to the patient.
Jenny is registered with the 'General Osteopathic Council' as well as 'The Institute of Osteopathy'.
